Salary: $182,750 - 247,250 per year Requirements:

• Active Top Secret SCI clearance with Polygraph is mandatory.
• Must have at least two (2) years of relevant experience in DevOps engineering.
• A Bachelor’s or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized field, OR equivalent four (4) years of job-related experience, OR a Master's degree with three (3+) years of job-related experience is required.
• Should demonstrate familiarity with DevSecOps principles, including stringent configuration management, configuration-as-code, and continuous delivery.
• Proven experience in building, securing, and managing containers in dynamic environments is necessary.
• Experience working within a Kubernetes environment, including understanding its workings, administering clusters, and deploying workloads using Helm is essential.
• Knowledge of container and Linux host networking is needed.
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka and the Elastic stack is preferred.
• Strong organizational, coordination, interpersonal, and team-building abilities are important.
• Proven problem-solving capabilities in complex environments are desired.
• The role is based on-site at the customer location.

Responsibilities:

• As a Systems Engineer (DevOps), I ensure the safety and security of our nation while supporting the deployment of systems and capabilities that focus on our comprehensive motion imagery software suite. I will assist in operations of a hybrid environment primarily built on Kubernetes, which is not internet-accessible. My tasks will include:
• Utilizing a broad range of skills within the DevOps discipline.
• Employing development and/or scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Java, C#, etc.).
• Applying Linux operating system experience.
• Contributing to systems engineering processes.
• Utilizing source code management tools (such as Git) and artifact repositories (like Nexus/Artifactory, container registries, etc.).
• Working with automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins, and Rundeck.
• Engaging with build/packaging tools such as Gradle, Maven, or Poetry.
